Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to LIKH Creative Studio (the “Website”), operated by Lina Staciokaite. (“I”, “we”, “our”).

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of this Website, including its content, portfolio projects, and any related features or services made available through it.

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the Website.

These Terms apply to the use of the Website. Any professional services, commissioned work, or other commercial engagements are subject to a separate agreement where applicable.

2. Purpose of the Website

This Website presents information about our work, skills, experience, projects and professional services.

Portfolio materials are provided primarily for informational and illustrative purposes. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the presentation of a project, service, price, or proposal on this Website does not constitute a binding offer or guarantee of availability.

Any project engagement, deliverables, fees, deadlines, and other commercial arrangements will be agreed separately between the relevant parties.

We may update, modify, or remove Website content from time to time.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Website lawfully and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or interfere with the Website's operation.

You must not:

  • Use the Website for unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purposes.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its systems, or restricted information.

  • Introduce malicious code or interfere with the Website's security or functionality.

  • Copy, distribute, or exploit protected Website content in breach of applicable intellectual property rights.

  • Misrepresent authorship of work displayed on the Website or falsely imply an affiliation, endorsement, or authorisation.

Nothing in these Terms prohibits activities that applicable law expressly permits.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

4.1 Ownership of Website Materials

Unless otherwise indicated, original materials on this Website are owned by me or used under an applicable licence or other legal authorisation.

These materials may include, without limitation:

  • Portfolio projects and case studies.

  • Original designs, illustrations, graphics, photographs, and visual compositions.

  • Website layouts, original written content, animations, and other creative materials.

  • Original source code, scripts, and other software components.

  • My name, logo, branding, and other identifying materials, to the extent protected by applicable law.

These materials may be protected by copyright, trademark law, and other applicable intellectual property laws.

All rights are reserved except where a licence, permission, or mandatory legal exception applies.

4.2 Permitted Viewing and Limited Use

You may access and view the Website for personal, informational, educational, and professional evaluation purposes.

Viewing a project, or viewing material in a browser does not, by itself, grant you ownership of that material or a licence to reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit it.

4.3 Restrictions on Copying and Reuse

Unless authorised by me or the relevant rights holder, or otherwise permitted by applicable law, you must not:

  • Reproduce, republish, or distribute protected Website materials.

  • Sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit protected materials.

  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from protected materials.

  • Repackage portfolio materials as your own products, templates, assets, or downloadable resources.

  • Remove or alter copyright notices or other rights-management information in a manner that infringes applicable law.

  • Claim authorship of work created by me or falsely suggest that you own rights in it.

These restrictions apply only to the extent that the relevant material is protected and I or the relevant rights holder has the rights necessary to enforce them.

4.4 Client, Employer, Collaborator, and Third-Party Materials

Some projects displayed on this Website may have been created for clients, or collaborators, or may include materials owned or licensed by third parties.

I do not claim ownership of materials belonging to other rights holders merely because they appear in my portfolio.

Third-party materials remain subject to their applicable ownership rights, licences, permissions, and contractual restrictions. Their appearance on this Website does not grant visitors permission to reuse them.

4.5 Commissioned Work and Client Rights

Ownership and usage rights in work created under a separate client engagement will be determined by the applicable written agreement and relevant law.

Depending on that agreement, rights may be transferred or licensed to a client, while other rights may remain with me or third parties.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, these Website Terms do not themselves transfer ownership of any commissioned deliverable or grant a client a licence to use a deliverable beyond the rights already established by a separate agreement or applicable law.

4.6 Portfolio Display and Case Studies

Where we have the necessary rights and permissions, we may display my work, project images, screenshots, descriptions, and case studies on this Website or in professional presentations.

We will not rely on this provision to override a binding confidentiality obligation, a client's intellectual property rights, or other applicable legal restrictions.

Any client-specific restrictions on publication, attribution, confidentiality, or portfolio use should be agreed in the relevant project contract.

5. Professional Services and Project Agreements

Information on this Website about my skills, experience, services, or previous projects is descriptive and does not, by itself, establish a client relationship.

Before beginning a professional project, the parties should agree on the relevant terms, including as appropriate:

  • Scope of work and deliverables.

  • Fees, taxes, payment schedules, and expenses.

  • Project milestones and estimated deadlines.

  • Revision limits, approval procedures, and additional work.

  • Intellectual property ownership and licensing.

  • Confidentiality and permitted portfolio display.

  • Cancellation, termination, and payment for work performed.

A project agreement, proposal, statement of work, or other accepted written agreement may supplement or replace the relevant provisions of these Terms for that particular engagement.

In the event of a conflict, the project-specific agreement will take precedence for that engagement to the extent expressly agreed and legally permissible.

Nothing in this section creates a professional services contract solely through a visitor's use of the Website.

6. Suspension and Restriction of Access

We may take reasonable steps to restrict or suspend access to the Website where necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or in response to unlawful activity or a material breach of these Terms.

Where reasonably practicable, we will take proportionate steps and provide notice where appropriate.

This section does not affect any rights that visitors or clients have under applicable law or a separate agreement.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Website, my practices, or applicable legal requirements.

The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Changes will apply prospectively where appropriate. Where the law requires notice, consent, or another procedure for a change to an existing agreement, we will follow the applicable requirements.

Continued use of the Website after publication of revised Terms does not override any legal requirement for explicit agreement or notice.
